Anna "Anne" Zack, 86 of Akron, passed away on September 19, 2024 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colorado.

Anne was born on July 21, 1938 in Ashland, Pennsylvania to parents Joseph and Mary (Kupcho) Snitzer.  She grew up in Frackville, PA.

Anne worked as a switchboard operator in both Frackville, PA and Richmond, VA before quitting to become a mother and homemaker in the 1970's. She remained in Virginia until 2015, when she moved to Akron to be closer to her twin sister, Helen

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Snitzer, husband Albert Zack, and sister Helen Stair.

She is survived by her daughter Sherry Dove and husband Jeremy of Fredericksburg, VA, grandchildren Aidan and Rion of Fredericksburg, VA,  fiancé Larry Spooner of Akron, and brother-in-law John Stair of Akron.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday September 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Akron.  A Rosary will be held prior to the Mass at 9:30 a.m.  Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Altar and Rosary Society.
