Betty Jo Hicklin (nee Martin) passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 26, 2018 at her home in Cincinnati Ohio.  She was 85.

Betty was born in Canute, OK on March 31, 1932.   On June 10, 1955, she married Delbert Hicklin (who preceded her in death in 1992) in Dill City, OK.  They moved to Colorado in 1958.  She worked most of her life for US West Telephone Company, formally part of AT&T and the Bell Telephone System.

Betty is survived by her four sons, Martin (and Sherry) Hicklin of Carrollton, OH, Tom Hicklin (and Patricia Wallace) of Cincinnati, OH, Frank Hicklin of Austin, TX, and Robbie (and Simone) Hicklin, of Aurora, CO, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be Monday, March 5 at 1 p.m. at Bowin Funeral Home in Akron, CO.  Interment at Akron Cemetery.
