Danyel Christina Brown, 44 of Akron, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11:40 a.m. at the Yuma District Hospital from complications from ALS, which she had been suffering from for a year and 2 months.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  She was born on May 4, 1975 to George Mayland and Lois Morris Mayland.

Danyel and Ron Brown were married for 25 glorious years. In that time, they lived in Aurora CO, Cheyenne WY, Empire, CO, Otis CO, and Akron, CO. She would do anything for her children and loved them very dearly. She enjoyed country music, walking in the neighborhood, and going to the park with her children. In the 25 years Danyel and Ron had been together, they were rarely apart, loved time together it doesn't matter what she was doing they just enjoyed being together.

Danyel was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by: husband Ronald Brown; three children, LaChelle Brown, Ozzy Brown, and Sebastin Brown; Mother Lois Mayland, three brothers, James Gifford, Robert Gifford, Donald Gifford/Mayland; two sisters, Cheryl Gifford/Wilkerson, Georgianna Mayland/Heater; and one step brother, Micheal Lee Beason JR. She will be missed by her friends that also meant a lot to her.
