Feedlot for four years, prior to becoming the "area man" for Y-W Electric Co. in the Anton area. Gene worked for Y-W Electric until he retired in 1990.
Gene's favorite pastime included fishing, hunting, camping buying,
selling and trading guns, playing golf, making pens and feeding his squirrels in the backyard. He especially enjoyed family reunions and spending time with his grandchildren.
