Gerald A. McCracken Moris was born Jan 2, 1944. He passed away peacefully Nov 16, 2023. He was raised by James Alva (Mac) and Goldie Cleo McCracken. Son of Verlie B. Stanbrough and Joseph A. Queen, all deceased.

He is survived by his children, Andrew Moris, Paul Moris, Regina Moris Soileau and Rebecca Moris.  Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving siblings: Bill McCracken, Doris Gard, Jane Eicher, Larry Harder, Sherry Puryear, Jenny Johnson and Debbie Worley.

Deceased siblings are Melburn, Jack, Jean, Jim, Elizabeth and Paulette McCracken.

Gerald loved working on cars, driving stock cars, racing, fishing and having a good time. He traveled to different states to enjoy the outdoors and meet new people, making friends wherever he went. Ft. Morgan , CO has always been his hometown.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Morgan Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment will follow at the Akron Cemetery.
