Harold Fincher, 76 of Akron, died on April 24, 2018 at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Cetner in Brush, CO.  He was born August 17, 1941 to Paul and Alma Axtell Fincher in Yuma, CO.  They lived in Yuma, Brush, and Akron.

Harold went to live and work for Fred & Jennie Branam at the age of 14 and he worked for them until 1988.  He then worked for Pearl Gasser until 2010.  He graduated from Akron High School, was a member of the Akron Elks and American Legion.

He loved his family, farming, ranching, and hunting.  He married Charlene Dorsey of Eaton, CO in January of 1972.  They were married for 46 years.  They had two sons; Carl and Brandon, both of Akron.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his foster parents Fred and Jennie Branam, and his in-laws Carl and Mabel Dorsey.

He is survived by his wife Charlene; sons Carl (Sarah) Fincher and Brandon (Amber) Fincher; grandchildren Mackenzie and Landyn Fincher; brothers Gerald (Linda) Fincher of Oregon, Daryl Fincher of Sterling, CO, Paul (Christie) Fincher of Oklahoma; and sister Carol Jean Haynes of Sterling.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Akron.  Memorial donations may be made to the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush.
