Kenneth Dale Fisher Jr. was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Kenneth Dale Fisher Sr and Josephine LaForge on January 25, 1944.
Kenny was the second born of 6 children.
Ken joined the Navy on July 31, 1961 and served until May 29, 1963 and was on the USS Mahan as a boilerman. He spent time in Alaska, Hawaii, China, Japan and Vietnam.
He went on to work as a truck driver until becoming disabled in the late 80's.
Ken had a very distinct laugh. If you were in a room full of people and heard his laugh, you'd say, "Is Kenny here?"
He loved music, especially from the 50's and 60's and always had his foot tapping to the beat of the music.
He also loved his spicy food. The hotter the better. If you looked in his refrigerator, he always had an assortment of hot sauces and salsas.
He had just returned from a trip to Alaska in August to visit family and do some salmon fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth D Fisher Sr. and Josephine La Forge, brother Glen Fisher; and his son Kenneth D. Fisher III.
He is survived by siblings: Dalene (Danny) Danyluk, Gary Fisher, Sharon (Calvin) Watkins, and Sue McCoy; son Tim Fisher, daughter Julie (Jeff) Angleton, stepson Patrick Reitz; grandchildren: Amber (Melvin) Paulsen, Jerrid Reitz, Haley Woods and Alysia Evey; great-grandchild Jack Paulsen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
