Leonard C Bailey was born in unincorporated Washington County, September 16th, 1925, to parents William and Hallie Bailey.

He was a lifetime resident of Washington County, with the exception of his military service and the last four years.

He was an employee of Washington County for 40 years and enjoyed building and maintaining the county's road system.

He married Lois Applequist, February 18, 1947.  They raised two wonderful loving daughters, Joy and Linda. Both preceded Leonard in death.

Leonard and Lois raised greyhounds for many years and have one of their dogs appear in a movie and another was a prize winner for which he won a fabulous trophy, which he always treasured.

He requested, wherever Bailey goes, so goes Lenlo Lanky.

Lois, passed November 30, 2001. They had many happy years together.

Leonard later married Virginia Scott. He was a very good husband.

Virginia passed away February 7th, 2021.

Leonard had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh.

Leonard is survived by his grandson Michael Walker (Wendy)

of Great Falls, Mt and granddaughter Tara Frandsen (Erick) of Conrad, Mt. Ten great grandchildren , 3 great grandchildren

and many nieces and nephews.
