It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Alice Williams, age 81, who left us peacefully on October 14, 2026. Linda was born on September 18, 1945, in Loveland, Colorado to John and Rose (Kitzman) Hart. She spent her life surrounded by the things she loved, raising her beloved miniature horses, and the wide-open spaces of Colorado.

Known for her adventurous spirit, Linda had a knack for embracing the extraordinary-one of her fondest stories was her experience caring for a pet mountain lion. She lived much of her life in Elizabeth, Colorado where she had a tack supply business called Running Creek Miniature Horse Tack Supply. Later, she settled in Akron, where she continued to share her love for the outdoors and traveling with her boyfriend, Art. As a dedicated equestrian lover, her bond with animals brought her immense joy and purpose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary Williams, and daughter Kelli Buchanan. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Brodzik; grandchildren Kati, Dillon, Brandon and Zachary; and great-grandchildren Elsa and Thor.
We invite friends and family to gather to celebrate Linda's life at a funeral service on October 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Foursquare Church of Akron. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at the Akron Cemetery.

In honoring Linda's life, let's remember the joy she brought to those around her and the genuine love she held for her animals and her family. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts.
