Lola Martin, 90, of Evans, died Monday, June 22, 2009.
She was born to Leroy and Nora (Kiggins) James on
January 12, 1919 in Rocky Ford, CO.
In her early years she lived in Kansas then moving to Greeley.
Graduating from Greeley High School in 1938 and Greeley
Commercial School in 1939. Lola was employed by Matthews
Produce of Greeley as a bookkeeper.
In 1946 she married Paul Martin and moved south of Akron where
they farmed and ranched, then retiring to Brush in 1990. In 1999
Lola moved to Greeley to live with her family.

Survivors: 1 son Dale Martin and wife Cheryl of Craig, CO
2 daughters Judy Scott and husband Mike of Tucson, Arizona,
Betty Woodard and husband Chuck of Evans, CO, 1 brother
Glenn James of Greeley. Six grandchildren and 11 great grand
children.

Proceeded in Death: Her husband Paul Martin, son Larry Martin,
her parents Leroy and Nora James, and brother Vernon James.
