Emma Lorrain Osman, 86 of Akron, formerly of Salem, Oregon, passed away at the Washington County Nursing Home on October 6, 2011.
Lorrain was one of eight children born to Charles and Goldie (Brower) Baker.
Lorrain enjoyed crochet, knitting, and made many of her own clothes.
Lorrain is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Goldie Baker, her husband Melvin Osman, infant daughter Melba Osman, and son Charles Osman.
She is survived by her son Frank "Butch" Osman of Yakima, WA; son Rodger Osman of Akron, CO, grandchildren Troy, Tina, Terry, Jesse, and Sarah. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Brenner Funeral Home. Interment followed at Akron Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice or to the Akron Foursquare Church, or to Hospice of the Plains.
