Margie Jean Curry went to be with the Lord on June 23rd, 2025 in Thornton, Colorado after battling complications from heart and lung conditions.

Margie was born in Phoenix, Arizona to Floyd & Thelma Reese on January 11, 1930. Margie moved with her family to Akron, CO at an early age, where she met her loving husband, Marvin Curry. They were married in Akron on August 15, 1948. They are parents to three children, daughter Toni and son Terry both of Thornton, and daughter Debbie.

Margie was last living of 9 Siblings, also preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie in 2003, and by her great granddaughter, Grace Ann, in 2006, also Husband Marvin in 2009. Margie leaves two granddaughters and two grandsons, three great granddaughters, five great grandsons and one great-great grandson, with another great-great grandchild on the way, due in January 2026.

There will be a viewing at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Akron Cemetery Gazebo,  in Akron. The Funeral & Burial will follow at 10:30 am. at the Akron Cemetery.

A Memorial Service will be held later at New Hills Christian Church located at 5061 E. 160th Avenue in Brighton- date/time TBD.

A reception will follow the service at the church.
