She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Akron, CO for fifty-four years and worked as a hair dresser for fifty years. She loved to dance, always wore a smile, and was kind to all who graced her presence. Amongst her many talents like gardening, baking, and painting, she was also an extraordinary seamstress, which is a talent she passed on to her daughters and grand-daughters.
