Stacy Robert Frink was born September 29, 1974 in Grand Island, Nebraska.

When he was 6 months old, the family moved back to Colorado.  He attended Parker Elementary School until 4th  grade.  He was an intelligent and precocious child and was enrolled in STEM classes since 1st grade.

The family moved to Akron in 1982.  Stacy gained a sister Paige a year later and another sister Blair in 1985, He attended Akron schools and played football in junior high.

Stacy left Akron to attend Diesel Mechanic school at Denver Technical Arts School.  He also learned welding and excelled at this art all his life.

He met his now ex-wife Desiree Gilbert in Denver. They traveled the country before settling in Providence, Rhode Island.  Son Derand was born there in 1994.

The family moved back to Colorado and welcomed daughter Kaylie in Grand Junction in 1996.

Stacy spent the last 15 years living and working in Berthoud, Colorado.  He passed away quietly in his sleep while visiting his sister Blair in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Stacy is survived by son Derand of Bozeman, Montana; daughter Kaylie and spouse Micheal grandson Daniel and granddaughter Arya of Laramie, Wyoming;  mother Cheryle, sister Paige and husband Colin, sister Blair and husband  John and nephew Corey.  He also leaves behind many cousins and friends.
