Thomas Lee Rodwell, age 78, passed away on September 18, 2024.

Born on September 28, 1945, he was preceded in death by his parents William and Ione Rodwell and three sisters: Pearl, Bessy, and Mary, as well as his beloved wife, Mary.

Tom is survived by his brother, Billy, his sons Shawn (Tonya), Morgan (Dawn), and Carl. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A lifelong resident of the Thurman/Anton area, Tom attended Anton School and served in the Army National Guard. He married Mary Margaret Granere on May 23, 1972, and together they raised their three boys.

Tom had a passion for farming, fabrication, truck driving, and caring for draft horses. He cherished the small-town lifestyle, often spending time with friends and neighbors.

A dedicated community member, Tom served on multiple boards and earned deep respect from those around him. He was a beloved figure and will be greatly missed by all.

Graveside services will be held at Thurman Cemetery on September 28th at 10:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local FFA chapter in Tom's memory.
