Travis Lee Florian, 39, of Akron, passed away on Thursday, February 6 th , 2020. Travis was born on July 6 th , 1980 and was the son of Wayne and Dawn Florian. He attended Akron schools and graduated from Akron High School in 1999. On September 2 nd , 2016 he married Megan Schiernbeck and found true contentment and happiness. He was also a father to Kiley and Dravin who brought him much joy. Growing up, Travis could always be found outside playing in the dirt with his trucks or tagging along with one of his grandparents or uncles. Once he reached his teenage years, there was never a question of where he was because everyone in town could hear him coming in his coveted red 1979 Ford F-150. The '79 Ford was the focal point of many adventures for him and his high school buddies. Later on, he loved lending a helping hand along with plenty of advice to other pickup enthusiasts. Travis found great fulfillment in his woodworking and his family and friends were gifted many of his talented creations. He enjoyed hunting, shooting, and reloading. In 2017 he completed the degrees of Freemasonry and became a dedicated Brother to the craft. Travis was laid back, never in a big hurry, and always ready with a witty comment and his famous Florian wave. He had a very kind heart and had a smile for everyone he came across. Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents Don and Jill Bloyd and Paul Florian. He is survived by his wife Megan and children, Kiley and Dravin, grandmother Jean Florian and Terry Shedd, parents Wayne and Dawn Florian, sister and brother-in-law Shelby and Kyle Dorrenbacher, niece Lynzee and nephew Seth, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
