Troy Ann (Severin) Stasenka passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the age of 60 in Fort Morgan, Colorado

Troy was born January 31, 1958 to George and Sarah Severin in Holyoke, Colorado.  Troy and her family moved to Akron, Colorado at a young age where she attended Akron School District, graduating in 1976.  She attended Northeastern Junior College where she earned an Associates Degree in Marketing Management.  She married Franklin Thomas (Tom) Stasenka on August 30, 1980 and lived in Sterling where her son Tyler was born. Troy and Tom lived in Sterling, Akron and Brighton, Colorado, moving in 2015 to Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Troy enjoyed hobbies of jewelry making, studying and collecting gemstones, auto racing, and most of all gardening and landscaping every square inch of her home's exterior. She enjoyed traveling with Tom, and one of her favorite destinations was Estes Park, Colorado where they would shop or just relax in the mountains.

Troy was preceded in death by her parents George Lowell and Sarah Ann Severin.

Survivors include husband Franklin Thomas (Tom) Stasenka; son Tyler Stasenka (Amy); and sibling Montelle Martens.

Funeral services entrusted to Bowin Funeral Home of Akron, Colorado.  A memorial to celebrate her life will be held on December 1, 2018 at 11am at the Methodist Church, 101 W. 3 ^rd , Akron, CO 80720.  Memorials may be sent to United Way of Morgan County, 106 E.
