Vera Mae Morris was born in Leadville, Colorado on January 25th, 1933. She raised 5 children Daniel, Leonard, Kathy, Chris and Ken. She passed away peacefully on Sunday December 29th, 2013. She had one sibling, Bill Ostrom, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.
There will be a memorial on January 3rd at 2pm at the Akron Foursquare Church. Located at 901 E 1st St, Akron, CO 80720

Her desire at her memorial service was to have a time together with family and friends that would celebrate her life. She is in the presence of the Creator of the universe right now, worshiping and dancing with the King.

She made a living as a house keeper. Talk about a sense of humor, she was so funny in a very natural way. She also loved to sew, bowl, and make ceramics. Vera enjoyed walking, playing games, baking and was a fantastic cook.
Vera enjoyed the mountains, ocean and to visit with family and friends. She loved going to church and MOST of all she loved the Lord Jesus.

Vera, will always have a special place in the hearts of those who knew her.
